Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our reach and enhancing our services. This role is crucial for driving Comence’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing brand awareness. The successful candidate will be a driven professional with a knack for negotiation and a passion for achieving targets.

How a typical day at Comence look like for you: [Responsibilities]

·         Develop growth strategies and plans to increase the membership base of Comence Coworking Space.

·         Identify and target potential clients in various industries to diversify the community.

·         Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners and stakeholders.

·         Lead the business development team, setting objectives, and providing mentorship.

·         Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for expansion.

·         Work closely with the marketing team to create and implement effective strategies for brand promotion and engagement.

·         Negotiate with service providers and vendors to enhance the amenities offered at Comence.

·         Oversee the preparation and delivery of presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

·         Represent Comence at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings.

·         Prepare detailed reports on business development activities and results for senior management.


What we are looking for


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Masters Degree is preferred

Years of Experience:

·         5-8 Years business development, sales, or a related area, with a proven track record of achieving targets.

Skills & Qualifications:

·         Proven experience in providing exceptional client service

·         Strong team player, highly organized, strong multitasker

·         Ease of learning and ability to retain and apply knowledge

·         Takes the initiative and direction and is a self-directed learner

·         Must be efficient while being precise and having an eye for detail

·         Possess high level of integrity, accountability, work ethic, and empathy

·         Experience in a coworking or shared office space environment is an asset

·         Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

·         Advanced working knowledge of MS Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, social media etc.

·         Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer needs and be able to address and resolve their concerns efficiently

·         Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for building communities and creating positive experiences for all stakeholders.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong resident relationships

·         Ability to multi-task and meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment

·         Self-motivated individual who is able to thrive in an independent work environment and efficiently complete tasks with minimal supervision.
